A transportation director employment contract is an agenda item for the Three Rivers Community Schools Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday evening (August 18th).
The board is being asked to enter into an employment contract with Henry Van Tuyl as the Transportation Director for the Three Rivers Community Schools. If approved, Van Tuyl will succeed Steve Yorks who resigned to become director of the St. Joseph County Transportation Authority.
Other items of business include approval of changes to both the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 Adult Education Student Handbooks, a request to allow a Boys Cross Country Team overnight trip to Camp Eberhart, a student-initiated proposal to enter into a co-op agreement with Sturgis High School for downhill skiing, and several personnel items.
The meeting will get underway at 7 p.m. in the District Training Room at the Central Administrative Office on Sixth Avenue.
