The Three Rivers Downtown Development Authority (DDA) his given the green light for installation of a donated sculpture in the “walk-thru” at 25 North Main Street.
The action came during the August meeting of the DDA Board of Directors Thursday morning (August 20th).
The Three Rivers Downtown Development Authority has okayed installation of a sculpture similar to the one pictured here in the "walk-thru" at 25 North Main Street.
Tom Meyer, a DDA board member and past chairman of the group, showed pictures of a bronze sculpture of a woman and child enjoying a book together on a bench and said he and his wife, Jackie, “would like to purchase that and put it in the walk-thru.”
The passageway connects the Portage River Parking Plaza to North Main Street. It was developed by Meyer Enterprises and purchased by the DDA last fall.
