In a hint that summer is drawing to a close, we note that Three Rivers High School will be conducting freshmen/new student orientation for the 2009-2010 school year Wednesday evening (August 26th).
The orientation is for all “new” parents and students and will get underway at 6:30 p.m.
Participants will meet initially in the Performing Arts Center for a brief “kick-off” session. Following that, students will be given their schedules and locker assignments.
According to school officials, “Ample time will be provided for parents and students to find their classrooms, open their lockers, and familiarize themselves with what will be their ‘home-away-from-home’ for the next four years.”
Representatives from the student council will be on hand to provide directions.
