Employee service recognition was an agenda item for Tuesday’s (October 20th) meeting of the St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners.
Twenty-one county employees were recognized with Board Chairman John Dobberteen announcing the names of the employees and presenting St. Joseph County service pins to those who were in attendance.
Topping the list was Bruce Morse, Road Patrol Sergeant with the sheriff’s department, who was honored for 30 years of service.
Equalization Director Judy Nelson, on hand to present the 2009 Apportionment Report, was among those recognized for 25 years with the county.
The awards recognized employees who have worked for the county for 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, 25 years and 30 years.
