Fabius-Park Fire Board hears ‘new thoughts on area fire protection’

Some new ideas about fire protection in the Three Rivers area surfaced during the January meeting of the Fabius-Park Fire Department (FPFD) Fire Board Wednesday evening (January 6th).

A story by Rick Cordes in Thursday’s (January 7th) edition of the Three Rivers Commercial-News reports on the meeting and the ideas, including “Initial Aid,” a concept presented by FPFD Fire Chief Scott Roderick and Three Rivers Fire Chief Dan Tomlinson.  The story also notes a plan presented by Three Rivers City Manager Joe Bippus that, in the words of the article, “could be a way for Lockport Township to rejoin the Fabius-Park Fire Department.”
