St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners to meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday

Action to set a public hearing on increasing the size of the St. Joseph County Road Commission Board from three members to five is an agenda item for Tuesday’s (January 18th) meeting of the St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners.

A ‘work session’ last week yielded a consensus to put the matter of scheduling the public hearing on the agenda for the upcoming meeting.

Other items of “New Business” include an employment agreement with Jimmie Barnes, an employment agreement addendum with Eugene Alli, police car laptop computer replacements, and additional equipment for the Centreville tower in conjunction with the radio project.

Also on the agenda are nominations and appointments to the Jury Board, Veterans’ Affairs Board and Human Services Commission.

The meeting will get underway at 5 p.m. in the Commission Room of the Historic Courthouse in Centreville.
