Nominating petitions for the following City Officers must be filed with the City Clerk’s office by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2011.
First District Commissioner – Two-Year Term
Third District Commissioner – Two Year Term
At-Large Commissioner – Two-Year Term
Mayor – Two-Year Term.
Petitions may be picked up at the City Clerk’s office. Candidates filing petitions are to have not less than 50 or more than 100 signatures of registered electors of the City of Three Rivers.

Should be interesting to see if Blaine Edgell attempts to run for Mr. Ramsey’s seat or for the Mayor’s position. I think that since Mr. Edgell loves his city so much, he should try again.
I certainly hope that we have contested races for these seats. Having contested races shows that people really do care about our city and what happens here.
