Due to adverse weather, the Three Rivers Community Schools will be CLOSED on Tuesday (February 22nd).
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The National Weather Service says light snow and freezing drizzle can be expected at times overnight. Additional snowfall accumulations of an inch to possibly two inches can be expected, mainly after midnight.
Forecasters say roads remain very icy, slick and snow covered in many areas and hazardous driving conditions continue Monday evening even thought the heaviest snowfall is over. Northeast winds are also creating some blowing and drifting in rural areas. For these reasons the Winter Weather Advisory for the entire area will continue into the overnight hours.
