City Manager Joe Bippus has announced the hiring of Amy Roth, PE as the new Director of the Three Rivers Department of Public Services (DPS).  Roth began her duties with the City on Monday (March 14).

Roth has a Civil Engineering Degree from Michigan Technological University and over ten years of post-graduate engineering experience.  Prior to joining the city staff she worked as a Project Engineer for Jones & Henry Engineers in Kalamazoo.  She also has prior engineering experience with Marbach, Brady & Weaver as well as Miller Design Group.

As a result of her prior work with Jones & Henry, Roth is already familiar with much of the infrastructure and many operational aspects of the City operation.

According to Bippus, “Amy has had the opportunity to work with many of our employees at DPS as well as most of our management staff as a result of her previous assignment with Jones & Henry.  She brings a high level of enthusiasm and technical competence to her position with the City and we welcome her to the team.”

Amy and her husband, Matt, are residents of the Three Rivers area.
