Labor Day 2011 will bring the opportunity to explore the bridges of Three Rivers during the very first ‘Three Rivers Bridge Walk,’ an activity sponsored by the Three Rivers Woman’s Club.
There will be three walks of varying lengths on Monday (September 5th). As the Woman’s Club says on the website that’s been set up with Bridge Walk information, “We do not have a Mighty Mac, but we have many more than one bridge!”
Come to the Farmers Market area in Scidmore Park, the starting point for the event, between 9 a.m. and noon on Monday. Maps of the three different routes will be provided and water and snacks will be available for purchase. The proceeds from these sales will go to the Pathway Project which is working toward creation of a walking trail between Three Rivers Health and Meyer Broadway Park.
There is no fee to participate in the Bridge Walk, but the Woman’s Club is asking help in anticipating the number of walkers by completing a registration form posted on the Bridge Walk website at http://trbridges.wordpress.com/.

What a great article, thank you Bruce.
Thanks Bruce the interview with Sally was great. Sorry I won’t be there but my thoughts for a great day are with the people who will be participating.
Love the addition of the interview! I hope there is a great turnout.
