Dense fog across Southern Michigan Tuesday morning (January 17th) has prompted many school delays.
The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Forecasters say unseasonably mild and moist air – along with melting snow – has contributed to the development of dense fog across the area. Dense fog will continue through late morning before diminishing. Motorists can expect difficult driving conditions due to reduced visibilities.
