As of Thursday (February 9), Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) construction crews have completed work on the US-12 railroad crossing and the street is again open to through traffic.
Due to pavement plants being closed for the winter, some repairs to the road near the rails were completed with cold patch; crews will be back for a brief period in spring to replace this temporary fix with asphalt.
