Friends of the St. Joe River Board to meet Thursday at Three Rivers Public Library

The Friends of the St. Joe River (FotSJR) Board will meet at the Three Rivers Public Library on Thursday (February 23rd) at 1 p.m.

In his meeting reminder, Board President Matt Meersman said, “Our meetings are open to the public and you are welcome to attend.”

Meersman also noted another upcoming meeting and two presentations that will highlight the gathering:

  • REGISTRATION NOW OPEN! - Join us March 26th for the 5th Annual Meeting of the St. Joseph River Watershed Council in Sturgis, MI. The program includes social time, dinner and a presentation by author Tom Springer titled:  “It’s A Swamp Thing: How to Help the Public Care About Marshy, Mucky and Ducky Places”  Click here for event details, online registration and a promotional flyer.
  • WATERSHED STEWARDSHIP AWARD - The 1st Annual “Al Smith Watershed Stewardship Award” will be presented at the Watershed Council Meeting.  This award was established to honor individuals with a passion for improving the health of the watershed.  Click here for more information and submit a nomination form.
