The Three Rivers Water Festival and the Riviera Theatre are partnering for a Water Festival fundraiser on Saturday, March 10th.
Before there was Glee… before there was NBC’s The Sing-Off… Michigan enjoyed the a cappella sounds of elmoTHUMM. Now THUMMp, the group continues to innovate and entertain across the Country as one of the leading vocal groups in the United States. THUMMp continues to get invited to a cappella festivals and events from California to New York and were National Finalists in both the Lever Brothers “Singing in the Shower” competition and the Harmony Sweepstakes. Somewhere in there they also were invited guests and performers for the President of the United States.
Contemporary music from the classics to today are featured in their live stage show. Rock, blues…music you know. You might just catch yourself singing along to one of the well known songs you’re likely to hear. THUMMp’s style of a cappella is fun and fascinating as the audience is in awe of the talent required to sing vocally AND make background affects with no instruments, but yet sound like there is a backup band! The show is guaranteed to entertain everyone in the family. “THUMMp has previously performed at the Three Rivers Water Festival as a strolling entertainment group and also on main stage, and we are excited to have them back in our community, states Deb Herring, Festival Chairperson.”
The energetic and fun filled show will be held on March 10th at 7:30 p.m. So, come on out, enjoy a live show in a beautiful theater and help a great cause like your very own 56th annual Three Rivers Water Festival. Tickets are $15 each and available at the Riviera Theatre box office in downtown Three Rivers, www.trriviera.com, (269) 278-8068 or at the Three Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce office.
