In announcing plans for Jackson’s appearance, Fair Manager Bill Johnson said, “We are very excited bringing this icon to our community. In the history of the past 20 years of Fair entertainment, this is one of the largest entertainers in country music success. The Fair Board and Fair Management Team are very excited and feel our community will also share in this excitement.” And Johnson added, “This event did not come without months of negotiating and late nights working with the entertainer’s representatives to assure the attendee gets one of the greatest performers in country music history.”
