Household hazardous waste collection & recycling set for April 21st at fairgrounds in Centreville

Household hazardous waste (HHW) collection and recycling of electronics, tires and paper are slated for Saturday, April 21 at the St. Joseph County Grange Fairgrounds in Centreville.

Four programs will take place from 8 a.m. until noon:

  • Household hazardous waste (HHW) material will be handled by Plainwell Drug & Laboratory.
  • Electronics recycling material will be handled by Valley City.
  • Tire recycling with tires collected by Cobalt.
  • Paper recycling with the St. Joe Co-op accepting cardboard, newspaper, magazines, junk mail and phone books.

These programs are offered by St. Joseph County and the County Solid Waste Committee.
