THREE RIVERS, MI – Three Rivers Health is now providing standing order pre-registration service for patients who need to have tests repeated on a regular basis (e.g. weekly, monthly, bimonthly) as ordered by a physician.
“We realized we needed to make the testing process easier and faster for our customers” says Deb Kinney, registration supervisor.

Deb worked with Leo Chugunov, laboratory manager, and together they developed a system to allow standing order patients to call at least 24 hours in advance of their visit, and their registration for the lab services will be completed before they arrive, saving time during their visit.
“There is no need to produce your insurance card and verify your personal information each visit,” says Kinney, “we do all of that ahead of time, now all a customer has to do is check in and have a seat”.
To qualify, a standing order, the test must have a frequency of order at least 4 times/year and the order from the physician is valid for 12 months. Customers can now call the lab pre-registration number at (269) 273-9733, leave their name, date of birth and expected time of arrival and the laboratory staff will be ready when they arrive.
