DOWAGIAC – Southwestern Michigan College graphic design instructor Bill Rothwell was named the recipient of the coveted Dean Collins Scholarship Award. Rothwell received the award, which is given annually to a high school or college educator, during the Photoshop World conference in Washington, D.C. in March.

Rothwell was nominated by former SMC student Michelle Maret. The scholarship is named after well-known photography expert, Dean Collins. As part of the award, Rothwell received a full conference pass, airfare, hotel accommodations, subscription to Photoshop World, and a full suite DVD training from Dean Collins.
