With the 56th Annual Three Rivers Water Festival just over a month away, deadlines for participants draw even nearer. One of the first deadlines is just around the corner, that being applications for participation in the annual street parade; the deadline for parade applications is Friday (May 11).
This year’s Water Festival theme is “Ahoy, TR!” with the focus on pirates, rivers, lakes, and boating. Sponsored by Frontier Communications, the parade will step off at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, at the corner of West Michigan and Douglas Avenues and travel east to North Main Street, and north to the intersection of North Main and Bennett Streets. In the event of stormy weather, the “storm date” is Friday, June 15.
Potential participants are encouraged to pick up a parade application immediately at the Three Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce, 57 North Main Street, Three Rivers, so they will have enough time to complete and submit the application. No late entries or walk-up entries will be permitted.
