For the tenth time since 1967, the City of Sturgis will once again be welcoming a group from Wiesloch, Germany. The group will arrive in Sturgis on Saturday (May 26) and depart on Wednesday (May 30).
As part of their visit, the Sister City Committee will host a gathering in Oaklawn Park beginning at 2:15 p.m. on Sunday (May 27). Mike Mestelle will lead a group at the amphitheater playing traditional Blues and other American music. The public is encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and meet Wiesloch’s Mayor and our other longtime friends and enjoy some good music on what promises to be a wonderful holiday weekend.
