Six school districts in St. Joseph County will be offering the Summer Food Program during the summer of 2012.
The Summer Food Program provides FREE meals to children from the age of 1 to 18. Also, persons up to age 26 are eligible if they are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled that is recognized by a State or local public educational agency.
The program is funded by the Michigan Department of Education in cooperation with the United States Department of Agriculture.
The following school districts are offering the Summer Food Program:
- Burr Oak
- Centreville
- Constantine
- Sturgis
- Three Rivers
- White Pigeon.
