(Cassopolis, MI) – At 11 a.m. Tuesday (July 31), only 200 Midwest Energy Cooperative members remain without service after an early morning storm crossed the southwest Michigan service territory. The majority of the remaining outages are in the Lawton area. Crews will remain in the field until all outages are restored.
Midwest Energy Cooperative is a member-owned electric utility providing electric distribution and an assortment of energy-related programs and services to more than 35,000 customers in 11 counties in southern Michigan and northern Indiana and Ohio.
