I’ve raised the issue of growing inequality in our country in this column on several occasions in the past and also shared the ideas of others on the topic. I do so again in this post which relates to a new book by Joseph E. Stiglitz, “The Price of Inequality.” Commentary on the subject comes through a column in The New York Times by Thomas B. Edsall, the Joseph Pulitzer II and Edith Pulitzer Moore professor at the Columbia School of Journalism. I encourage you to “check out” Professor Edsall’s review and thoughts about the book and the topic and – after doing so – to share YOUR thoughts with River Country Journal readers by using the ‘Leave a Reply’ comments form at the bottom of the page.
Here’s the link to the column in The New York Times: Separate and Unequal

On your recommendation, I’m going to download the book on my Kindle.
