Free stroke screening was offered Thursday (August 9) at the George Washington Carver Community Center in Three Rivers.
Three Rivers Health teamed up with the Carver Center to provide the screening from noon to 3 p.m.

In reporting on the activity, Janell Hart and Gus Hilson, Carver Center treasurer and president, respectively, said, “This event was well received and Three Rivers Health and the George Washington Carver Center are working on a schedule to provide healthy information and screening to the community for the remainder of the year.”
The Carver Center is located at 436 Jefferson in Three Rivers.
