Republican state Representative Matt Lori of Constantine and his Democratic challenger, Mike Moroz of Dowagiac, will meet in a candidate forum Wednesday evening (October 24th) near Cassopolis. The event will get underway at 7 p.m. at the Cass County Council on Aging Lowe Center, 60525 Decatur Road, Cassopolis.
The forum is one of four, live public candidate forums this week hosted by the League of Women Voters of Berrien and Cass Counties and eight co-sponsors. The co-sponsors are: Leader Publications, Rotary Club of the Three Oaks Region, Dowagiac Rotary, Greater Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce, Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce, Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce, Berrien Springs Eau Claire Rotary and Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.
The event is free and open to the public.
As is traditional with League forums, the first questions will come from the sponsors and then some from the audience, submitted in writing at the forum.
Lori and Moroz are vying for the Michigan House seat from the 59th District which includes all of St. Joseph County and much of Cass County.
