The public school districts in St. Joseph County are offering a Schools of Choice Program for 2nd Semester of the 2012-13 school year. Participating school districts are Burr Oak, Centreville, Colon, Constantine, Mendon, Nottawa, Sturgis, Three Rivers, and White Pigeon.

The Schools of Choice Program allows parents and students a choice to attend any public school within St. Joseph County ISD, as long as eligibility requirements are met. Families are urged to check with the Superintendent’s Office of their Choice School to determine their eligibility.

Copies of the Program Packet (which includes information on graduation requirements, athletics, transportation, and the application form) are available at each local district Superintendent’s Office and on the ISD’s website at www.sjcisd.org.

Families that reside in St. Joseph County are eligible to apply through the St. Joseph County Schools of Choice Program. Applications must be completed and returned to the Superintendent’s Office of their school of choice by noon on Friday, January 25, 2013.

Families that reside in Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Kalamazoo, or Van Buren County are eligible to apply through the Section 105c Schools of Choice Program.

Applications must be completed and returned to the Superintendent’s Office of their school of choice by noon on Friday, January 18, 2013 (for Burr Oak, Colon, Constantine, and Three Rivers schools) or by noon on Friday, January 25, 2013 (for Centreville, Mendon, Nottawa, Sturgis, and White Pigeon schools).

Additional information may be obtained by contacting any participating district Superintendent’s Office.
