Caring for Infants and Children with the Flu FAQ

To better assist you with caring for an infant or child ill with the flu, the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency has posted a new Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) sheet – “Caring for Infants and Children with the Flu.”  This FAQ sheet provides timely guidance on how to protect your young one from getting the flu, how to care for them if they come down with the flu and when emergency medical assistance is needed.

Remember:  It’s not too late to get a flu shot.  If your child needs a flu shot and is: uninsured, insured but lacks immunization coverage or on Medicaid, the health department can help through its Vaccines for Children Program.  Call to schedule them an appointment today!
