“Is Cass County’s signature event, the Intergovernmental Forum, on the chopping block?”
That’s the question posed by John Eby of Leader Publications in a report on the latest meeting of the Cass County Board of Commissioners, a governmental body that has been trimmed from 15 to 7 as the result of redistricting following the 2010 Census.
The report touches on other topics as well, including a decision to restore the historic name of ‘drain commissioner’ for the office known in recent years as ‘water resources commissioner’.
