The Three Rivers HarmonyFest Committee is having a Chili Cookoff/Homebrew Beer Contest fund raiser on Saturday, February 2nd from 7 – 9 PM at the Riviera Theatre in downtown Three Rivers, MI. All cooks and homebrewers are invited.
HarmonyFest, a free, day long music festival held annually on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, is having a birthday, its 20th. HarmonyFest celebrates the diversity of our community through diverse musical styles. Held on Main Street in downtown Three Rivers and supported entirely by donations from local citizens, business, and civic organizations, HarmonyFest is an event for everyone young or old.
To help celebrate the upcoming 20 year anniversary HarmonyFest is having a Chili Cookoff and Homebrew Beer Contest. Local cooks and brewers will be competing for honors. Attendees will sample the fare and vote for their favorites – all while raising money to help support HarmonyFest.
Held in the beautifully restored 1920’s era Riviera Theatre in downtown Three Rivers. Come on down and enjoy Homebrew Craft Beer, Homemade Chili, live music in the bar and craft beer related movies on the silver screen, all while helping to support HarmonyFest.
Playing a mix of Motown, Reggae, R&B, and Funk in the bar during the event will be Spur of the Moment, Marshall Andrew – Keyboard, George Clay – Drums, Aaron Garcia – Guitar, Bobo Trevino – Bass, and Monica Washington – Saxophone/keyboard.
