The accompanying photographs provide evidence of such activity in the mall area and on North Main Street where work associated with lighting and sidewalk improvements was underway.

The goal is to have the project done by Three Rivers Water Festival time in mid-June.

The bulk of the funding for the $940,000 upgrade is coming from a $750,000 Downtown Infrastructure Grant (DIG) awarded to the City of Three Rivers by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).
