The St. Joseph County Intermediate School District Board of Education is slated to meet at 4:15 p.m. Monday (January 28th) at ISD headquarters on Shimmel Road south of Centreville.
Dr. Barbara Marshall, ISD superintendent, and Cabinet members are expected to present a ‘Strategic Plan Mid-Year Progress Report’.
Among the items of business for the meeting is approval of the September 1, 2011 – June 30,204 Master Agreement between the ISD and the St. Joseph County Michigan Education Assistants Association (MEAA). Also on the agenda is action on a recommendation to approve an agreement with Owen-Ames-Kimball as Construction Manager for an HVAC project, which includes components for increased energy efficiency and site repair/improvement. The ISD board voted in December to adopt a resolution authorizing $4,165,000 in 2013 Energy Conservation Improvement Bonds to fund the project. It also approved a Request for Proposal for Construction Management Services.
