The Three Rivers Lions Club is now accepting nominations for its “Citizen of the Year” program.
Since 1965, the club has recognized persons who – through a commitment to service – have given unselfishly of themselves for the betterment of the community. The “Citizen of the Year” is honored during a public banquet and program. This year’s event will be held in late April or early May.
Nominations should include a brief explanation of why the nominee is deserving of the “Citizen of the Year” honor. They should be mailed to “Citizen of the Year Nominations,” c/o Bruce Snook, 620 Pine Street, Three Rivers, MI 49093 or e-mailed to bcsnook@comcast.net.
Nominations should be mailed by February 18, 2013.
