The Human Resource Council of St. Joseph County will offer an ‘Employment Law Update’ in the Business Development Center at Glen Oaks Community College on Tuesday, April 9.
Joe Haas – from Dresser, Dresser, Haas & Caywood, P.C. – will be the presenter for this event.
The recently passed ‘Right to Work’ law has generated much discussion across the state. What is this new law and what does it mean for business? There have also been recent federal law changes, including new aspects of the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Immigration Reform and Control Act. Attorney Haas will shed some light on all of these challenging issues.
Doors will open at 7:15 a.m. and the seminar will take place from 7:30 to 9.
There is a $5 per person fee and a continental breakfast will be available.
