Constantine High School teachers Marilyn Anderson and Sharon Zimont were honored by the Special Education Parent Advisory Committee of the St. Joseph County Intermediate School District, at an awards reception held May 2.
Marilyn was recognized as “General Education Teacher of the Year” and Zimont was recognized as “Special Education Teacher of the Year.”
“I appreciate being honored with this award. It is humbling,” Anderson said. “It is an honor. It feels good to receive this after 29 years of teaching,” Zimont added.
Anderson teaches Life Skills/Health (Family and Consumer Science) and Zimont teaches Special Education/Academic Lab.
