News update: 200 Midwest Energy Cooperative members without power at 11 a.m. Friday

(Cassopolis, MI) – This morning, Midwest Energy Cooperative crews have been tackling the area hardest hit by Wednesday night’s storm. One circuit serving about 200 cooperative members in Covert remains without service, and crews are focusing attention on clearing and rebuilding the heavily damaged area. More information on estimated final restoration times will be shared with the 4 p.m. update.

Midwest Energy Cooperative is a member-owned electric utility providing electric distribution and an assortment of energy-related programs and services to more than 35,000 customers in 11 counties in southern Michigan and northern Indiana and Ohio.
