‘Treasure Hunt Rally Day’ held at Constantine Township Library as part of summer reading program

Hannah and Alex Mikowski

Games of various sorts were part of ‘Treasure Hunt Rally Day’ Thursday (June 27) at the Constantine Township Library.

Hannah and Alex Mikowski put “pom poms” into cups (see accompanying photo).  In addition to the pom pom game, children did a ring toss, smiley face bowling, clothes relay, and a treasure dig with prizes.

Martie Mikowski, mother of Hannah and Alex, said, “Hannah and Alex love to come in and pick out books for summer reading.”

Grandfather Gary Nichols helps Kloiee Tucker put “pom poms” in cups. Kloiee is held by her mother, Athena Nichols.  (Click on photo to enlarge)

The event was part of the library’s summer reading program, ‘Dig Into Reading’.

For more information on the program, call 9269) 435-7957 or go to www.constantine.michlibrary.org.
