State of Michigan expands hours for automated telephone system to accept unemployment claims

Jobless workers who are applying for unemployment benefits can now file their claims 24 hours a day Monday through Saturday by using an automated telephone system at the state’s Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA).

Cole Motor Company survives Chrysler dealership cuts

“We’ve made the cut.” These are the words of Roy Mrosewske (muh-ZEHS-kee), general manager of Cole Motor Company in Three Rivers, after Chrysler LLC told a bankruptcy court it plans to eliminate 789 of its dealers – or about 25 percent of them – across the country as part of its restructuring process.
