City of Three Rivers and Fabius Township to focus on trail building

There may be a new trail in the Three Rivers Community soon! The City of Three Rivers and Fabius Township recently kicked-off a new cooperative trail planning effort. The goal of the new initiative is to establish a proposed pathway connection from downtown Three Rivers to Meyer Broadway Park and develop a comprehensive implementation plan.

Kroggel seeking election to Fabius Township supervisor post

Fabius Township website to be updated

Fabius Township’s website will be updated this year following action by the Fabius Township Board during its April meeting to accept the quote of a Three Rivers company for revamping the township’s online presence. The estimate for the work to be done by ZCSS – Zen Computing Support and Service – is $1,200.

New deputy on the job in Fabius Township

Jeff Bingaman is the new St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department deputy assigned to Fabius Township. Undersheriff Mark Lillywhite introduced Bingaman during the March meeting of the Fabius Township Board and said, “He’ll do a fantastic job out here.” Bingaman replaces Deputy Jason Auton who is now working elsewhere within the sheriff’s department.
