Ambulance & fire protection millage renewal approved in Leonidas Township

Leonidas Township voters strongly endorsed renewal of a 1.7-mill ambulance and fire protection tax levy in Tuesday’s (August 3rd) Primary Election. The program – for a period of five years (2010 through 2014) – was approved 132 to 56. The millage is expected to generate a little more than $54,000 in the first year.
