The Kalamazoo Concert Band – with Brian Shetterly conducting – will perform in Memory Isle Park in Three Rivers this coming Saturday (June 27th).

A community park development project in the Village of Colon is among 67 recreation projects and land acquisitions recommended for Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF) funding in 2010.
The Village of Colon will receive $200,000 from the State of Michigan for the Colon Community Park, state Rep. Matt Lori announced Wednesday (March 10th). Funds for the project come from the state’s mineral, oil and natural gas royalties, which are constitutionally required to be spent on land acquisition and park improvement projects.
